Indian Police Use AI Technology to Help Find Missing Children
In India, the issue of missing children is becoming increasingly serious. By the end of 2023, the number of missing children had risen to 47,000. To address this challenge, the police have started using artificial intelligence technology to help solve cases. In January 2024, the Delhi Police successfully cracked a 'blind case' thanks to the assistance of AI. The police formed a 30-member team to reconstruct the facial features of an unidentified man using AI technology. Since the man's face was damaged beyond recognition, the AI-generated image became crucial.
